Leif Mohr Pf. is one of the oldest companies in the Faroe Islands that is still owned by Faroese. Leif Mohr was the first electrician in the Faroe Islands, and in 1935 he started his own business. Since then, the company has been steadily gaining ground, so it is now one of the largest, Faroese total suppliers of electrical equipment and services for home and industry.
Quality, professionalism, durability, and trust have always been our hallmarks, both in terms of goods and services. In the last few years, we have focused on supplying energy- and environment-friendly products.
Seniority is high. We have very good and loyal staff, who have been with us for many years. Therefore, we can pride ourselves in having very experienced staff, who can provide sound and precise advice to our customers. We believe this is the reason why our customers return again and again.
In 2001, the company was split in two. All the electricians were placed in the newly formed company, LM Electric, and the old company, Leif Mohr focused on servicing the industry as well as being a supplier of industrial kitchens and electrical components and appliances for regular customers. Even if the two companies focus on different areas, electronics are still the common denominator.
Today, Leif Mohr has moved into all major branches of business. We participate in most major construction projects and are regular suppliers for the aquaculture industry, fisheries, ships, industry, public institutions, and household. We also supply industrial kitchens, white goods, and electrical items in the shops in Tórshavn and Kambsdalur.
The Managing Director is Leivur Holm, Leif Mohr’s grandson.
